I know I have mentioned this before but it bears another glance. Last Christmas there was a great commercial. A little boy walks into a jewelry store bent on purchasing a piece of expensive jewelry for his mother. He put everything in his pockets on the glass, including a gum wrapper. The woman just stands there not sure what to do. Then she catches a glimpse of the dad standing in the door way and he gently holds up a bank card, indicating he has this covered.
I just want to remind each of us that we are all trying to accomplish things beyond our reach. I really mean that because anything the Lord asks us to do or be is beyond our ability on our own. The enemy stands like the saleslady ready to tell we don’t have what is needed to obtain what we are reaching for. But he is wrong. Our Father is standing near exhibiting to the enemy that HE intends to complete anything we might lack in order to succeed.
Recently I had an event to speak at and I had very little sleep for almost two weeks. I had injured both my shoulders leaving me with a very limited range of motion on both sides. I felt like calling and telling the group I could not make it. In fact, I had the enemy giving me so many neat phrases to use so they would be sure to be sympathetic. But as I was beginning to think he was making sense, I saw the commercial in my head. I knew at once my Father had in HIS hand everything I would need to complete that conference.
When you have a big dream in your heart or an unbelievable command from the Father; know that you are not alone. HE has got your back!!!!!
